Bizzy Lizzy Flourless Bread Mix Recipes

Our Flourless Bread Mix can be used to make more than bread.  You can also make pizza crust and buns.

We have some great sandwich ideas below.  See what you can create at home by experimenting with our mixes.

Flourless + Wheat Free:  Pizza, Buns & Sandwiches

 

Basic Bread Recipe

 

  • 1 1/3 cup warm water
  • 1 Bizzy Lizzy Flourless Bread Mix
  • 1 tablespoon oil (optional)


Directions:
Add water to mix, stir, let rest 2 minutes, stir with a mixer or by hand for 2 minutes, add oil and incorporate.  Press out flat. Let rest 16 minutes (optional) and bake 16 minutes.

Yes you read that right, it is that simple.

 

Pizza Crust

  • 1 1/3 cup warm water
  • 1 Bizzy Lizzy Flourless Bread Mix
  • 1 tablespoon oil (optional)


Suggested Pizza Toppings:

Cheese and pepperoni
Cheese and canadian bacon
Cheese and bacon
Fresh tomatoes chopped and or chopped kale, brussel sprout mix and cheese
Cheese and chicken, ½ cup BBQ sauce mixed with ½ tomato sauce
Cheese and chicken, ½ cup teriyaki sauce mixed with ½ tomato sauce
Cheese and chopped broccoli, ½ cup teriyaki sauce mixed with ½ tomato sauce

Directions:
Add water to mix, stir, let rest 2 minutes, stir 2 minutes, add oil and incorporate.  Spread onto a cookie sheet.  Top with tomato sauce, sprinkle with Italian Seasoning, meat and then cheese. Bake at 350 for soft crust for 20 minutes, bake 425 degrees for crispy crust for 15 minutes.


Buns

  • 1 1/3 cup warm water,
  • 1 Bizzy Lizzy Flourless Bread Mix
  • 1 tablespoon oil (optional)


Directions:
Add water to mix, stir, let rest 2 minutes, stir 2 minutes, incorporate oil. Mixture will be damp. With an ice cream scoop, it will make 6-8 buns, press to about 1/4" thick. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.


Reuben Sandwich

  • 1 1/3 cup canned sauerkraut  liquid (if not enough add water to make the 1 1/3 cups),
  • 1 Bizzy Lizzy Flourless Bread Mix
  • 1 tablespoon oil (optional)


Directions:
Add water to mix, stir, let rest 2 minutes, stir 2 minutes, add oil and incorporate.  Spread ¾ onto a cookie sheet to about ¼ inch thickness. Top with ½ pound corned beef, ½ pound shredded swiss cheese, ¼ cup thousand island dressing and ½ cup sauerkraut.  Add remaining prepared bread mix, spread evenly on top of sauerkraut.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.


Turkey and Swiss Sandwich

  • 1 1/3 cup water
  • 1 Bizzy Lizzy Flourless Bread Mix
  • 1 tablespoon oil (optional)

Directions:
Add water to mix, stir, let rest 2 minutes, stir 2 minutes, add oil and incorporate.  Spread ¾ onto a cookie sheet to about ¼ inch thickness. Top with ½ pound turkey, ½ pound shredded swiss cheese.  Add remaining prepared bread mix and spread evenly on top.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.


Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich

  • 1 1/3 cup water
  • 1 Bizzy Lizzy Flourless Bread Mix
  • 1 tablespoon oil (optional)


Directions:
Add water to mix, stir, let rest 2 minutes, stir 2 minutes, add oil and incorporate.  Spread ¾ onto a cookie sheet to about ¼ inch thickness.Top with ½ pound rotisserie chicken, ½ pound shredded monterey jack cheese.  Add remaining prepared bread mix and spread evenly on top.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.


Salmon Hot Sandwich

  • 1 1/3 cup water
  • 1 Bizzy Lizzy Flourless Bread Mix
  • 1 tablespoon oil (optional)


Directions:
Add water to mix, stir, let rest 2 minutes, stir 2 minutes, add oil and incorporate.  Spread ¾ onto a cookie sheet to about ¼ inch thickness. Top with ½ cup mayonnaise, 1 can salmon (bones and skin are edible), ½ pound shredded cheddar cheese.  Add remaining prepared bread mix and spread evenly on top.   Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.


Meatball Sandwich

  • 1 1/3 cup water
  • 1 Bizzy Lizzy Flourless Bread Mix,
  • 1  tablespoon oil (optional)


Directions:
Add water to mix, stir, let rest 2 minutes, stir 2 minutes, add oil and incorporate.  Spread ¾ onto a cookie sheet to about ¼ inch thickness. Top with 10-12 meatballs preferably slightly broken up (buy frozen or use leftovers), and a ½ pound shredded cheddar cheese.  Add remaining prepared bread mix and spread evenly on top.   Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.


Left-Over Chinese Food Reinvented

  • 1 1/3 cup water
  • 1 Bizzy Lizzy Flourless Bread Mix
  • 1 tablespoon oil (optional)


Directions:
Add water to mix, stir, let rest 2 minutes, stir 2 minutes, add oil and incorporate.  Spread ¾ of mix onto a cookie sheet, spread to about ¼ inch thickness. Top with 2 cups leftover Chinese, even fried rice works, then top with ½ pound shredded cheese.  Add remaining prepared bread mix on top and spread evenly.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
