All Natural, All Good

What do you think of when you hear (or read) the words "organic gardening"? Do you think of farmers markets or expensive grocery store produce? Do you think of certifications and that little green stamp? Most people are familiar with the corporate-style certified organic form of organic gardening. That certification, however, takes time and money that a lot of small farms simply don't have. But that doesn't mean that you don't reap the benefits! Which is why we're dedicated to our own, personal, organic garden.
Yes, indeed, our Bizzy little farm is organic. That means no chemicals in rain clean soil. In fact, the soil has been chemical and pesticide free for over 25 years. That's a quarter of a century of natural biotic growth, the way mother nature intended. So the veggies we grow--like beets and zucchini--are free of nasty chemicals that turn up in traditional produce all the time. Things like: phthalates (shampoo chemicals), hormone-disrupting chemicals that have been linked with obesity and diabetes, and the infamous DDT, which can interfere with your vitamin D levels and weaken your immune system. Yikes!
At Bizzy Lizzy, we do things the right way. That means growing our own veggies, which go right from our garden into our muffins. We care about your health, which is why we're wheat-free, flour-free, AND chemical-free. Our baked goods are nothing but tender loving care, from seed to soil to sprout to sweets.
